Annual Statistical Reports

The Property Tax Division prepares a final statistical report each year. It contains the taxable value of Centrally Assessed, Real and Personal property. In addition, it details statistics that pertain to real property like effective tax rates, redevelopment agency data, taxes charged, housing information, personal income and the largest Centrally Assessed companies. If you want to understand more about the current trends and cycles of property values in Utah, this is an excellent source. Take time to look at the table of contents to see what might interest you. Persons having an interest in government finance will want to look at the breakout of taxes charged to funds for the general county, schools, cities and towns and special districts. The annual report also includes a summary of the annual Assessment/Sales Ratio Study with weighted means and coefficients of dispersion for each of Utah's 29 counties.
